The Cherokee Area Farmers Market (CAFM) is located under the canopy at the Cherokee Depot, from 4-6 p.m. Vendors with items for sale at CAFM, Thursday, Aug. 21:
Certified vendors, name underlined, can accept coupons as payment for vegetables, fruit, honey.
- Wayne Nafe will have for sale tomatoes, potatoes, kohlrabi, zucchini, cucumbers and apples.
- Scott Koch and Deb Koch will have for sale tomatoes, potatoes, peppers, onions, okra, eggplant, cucumbers, zucchini, green beans and popcorn.
- Chelsea Stender will have for sale green beans, edamame soybeans, Napa cabbage, onions, garlic, red and white potatoes, golden beets, kohlrabi, cucumbers and gluten-free cookies.
- Linda Livermore of Prairie Magic Greenhouse will have available for sale assorted plants and crafts.
- Julie Rudisill will have for sale crocheted octopus, watermelon, snowman all keychain, jar openers, gromes and scratches, and banana nut bread.
- Barbara Elston will have for sale crocheted kitchen towels.
- Amy Gilbert will have for sale small pillows and hair ties (scrunchies) and dog scarfs.
- Carolyn Probasco will have for sale bowl holders, cloth coaster, hot pads and pot holders.
- Wanda Miller will have for sale earrings, necklaces and bracelets.
- Samantha Robinson will have for sale wood earrings, charm earrings, necklaces, diamond art bookmarks, diamond art paintings, magnets, and as a member of the Women of Today, Samantha will be selling green ribbon pins to spread awareness for mental health. Donations will help someone in our community be able to afford therapy.
- Abby Zupp will have for sale jalapeño cheddar sourdough, everything bagel sourdough, soft sandwich sourdough, original sourdough; and cookies: M&M's cookies, cookies & cream cookies, monster cookies, ultimate s’mores cookies, golden Oreo funfetti cookies and cosmic brownie cookies.
