Cherokee Area Farmers Market, June 12, 2025

The Cherokee Area Farmers Market (CAFM) will hold its 2nd market of the 2025 season on Thursday, June 12, under the canopy at the Cherokee Depot, from 4-6 p.m.

Certified Vendors, name underlined, can accept coupons as payment for vegetables, fruit, honey.

  • Wayne Nafe will have for sale kohlrabi, lettuce, radishes, rhubarb, broccoli and possibly snap peas.
  • Scott Koch and Deb Koch will have for sale lettuce, spinach, kale, radishes, kohlrabi, green onions, cabbage jam and popcorn.
  • Linda Livermore of “Prairie Magic Greenhouse” will have for sale plants from her greenhouse. Vegetable plants will include tomatoes, peppers, onions and leeks. Also a great variety of herb plants at only $3 apiece. Unusual flowers will include celosia, lace flowers, verbena and maybe some very healthy geraniums, only $3 apiece.
  • Avalyn Pruett will have for sale cookies, cupcakes, crystals, dreamcatchers, dreamcatcher kits, jewelry and candles. 
  • Julie Rudisill will have for sale keychains she made; watermelon, lemon slices, orange slices, knitted; Oct. animals, pot holders and banana nut bread.
  • Barbara Elston will have for sale crocheted kitchen towels.
  • Carly Belden will have for sale crocheted small animals.
  • Amy Gilbert will have for sale scrunchies, small pillow, and other things she sews.
  • Carolyn Probasco will have for sale potholders, cloth coasters, hot pads and bowl holders that she made herself.
  • Beth Anderson will have for sale her photos and art work, and will do face painting.
  • Vanessa Rohwer will have for sale duck eggs.
  • Samantha Robinson will have for sale hand crafted earrings, necklaces, bracelets, diamond art coasters and bookmarks.
  • Wanda Miller will have for sale handmade jewelry, earrings, bracelets and necklaces.
  • Hannah Veit will have for sale baked goods, lettuce and spinach.  Also possibly a few zucchini by market time.
  • Jeremy Rohwer will have for sale popcorn named Mockingbird Hill kettle corn.
  • Paige McNeil will have for sale succulents and cactuses.
