Donations sought by area daycare

2024 was overall a good year for Cherokee Daycare. With donations throughout the year, they were able to have children attend the pool and movie theater, as well as several holiday parties at the center, and purchased supplies for arts and crafts.

They are asking for donations this year to not only keep the traditions and fun at Cherokee Daycare, with funds for supplies, and to replenish our pool/movie fund, but to also help with capital improvement projects.

The older playgrounds need replacement parts, such as new swings; as well as a new storm door for our outdoor storage, roof repair and kitchen pots and pans. Any donation you can make would be appreciated. Should you donate, your business will be recognized on the daycare information board and in the daycare newsletter.

The Cherokee Daycare is located at 400 N. Roosevelt in Cherokee. They are able to provide care for children from ages 6 weeks to 12 years old in programs that are designed to meet their needs. The staff is a group of caring individuals coming from an array of childcare backgrounds.

The Cherokee Daycare is a registered 501(3)C nonprofit corporation and any donation is tax deductible. If you have any questions or need further information, please contact the center at 712-225-5728 or by email at chdaycare@outlook.com.
