Elizabeth Ann Reinert, 63, of Newton passed away Tuesday, May 10, 2025, at her residence.

Elizabeth Ann (Liz) Reinert, the daughter of Floyd P. and Hilda C. (Henke) Reinert, was born Nov. 30, 1961, in Cherokee. Her childhood years were spent in Cherokee. She attended Immaculate Conception School in her elementary years. She went to Wahington High School in Cherokee. She attended Western Iowa Tech and received a degree as a LPN. She also attended Des Moines Community College and studied marketing management.
Elizabeth’s best friend and companion was her dog, Molly. When she passed, she could not replace her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Floyd and Hilda Reinert; brothers, Ralph and Mike Reinert; step-mother Evelyn Reinert; grandparents: Joe and Julia Henke; and Peter and Emma Reinert.
She is survived by her brothers: Phil (Sharon) Reinert, Paul (Susan) Reinert, John (Lori) Reinert, Dale (Lisa) Reinert and Peter (Janet) Reinert; one sister, Mary Jo (Ted) Cline; sisters-in-law, Janet (Ralph) Reinert and Brenda (Mike) Reinert; and many nieces and nephews.
