Have you received your property assessment notice?

The Cherokee County Assessor’s office recently mailed out property assessment notices for the current year. They have noticed a number of these notices being returned by the postal service.

If you have not yet received your assessment notice, they encourage you to:

• Visit their website: https://www.cherokeecounty.iowa.gov/ 
• Contact or visit our office: You can check if we have an envelope being held for you. Our office is located at the Cherokee County Courthouse, 520 W. Main Street, Cherokee, and can be reached by phone at 712-225-6701.
