Thursday, Aug. 7 Meeting
I come to you today with a heavy heart. Due to personal reasons that are my business and none of yours because you are not a Kiwanian, I did not attend today’s meeting.
Talk about a heart breaking, gut wrenching, mind blowing, tear jerking state of affairs, this was it.
Here we have the greatest Kiwanis Club in the world with some of the greatest people in the world and I’m not there. In all of America you will never find a more wonderful group of people that care so much for kids and the community.
Come be a part of our wondrous group and show the world you too care about making life better for everyone in Aurelia.
Amy came through again with a breakfast fit for royalty. I know that to be a fact, because she stoped by and presented me with some of her scrambled eggs and cinnamon rolls. Thank you again Amy. You are so kind. No wonder you are a Kiwanian.
See ladies, women are more than welcome to become members, and enjoy the feeling of being part of the greatest Kiwanis club ever.
Our speaker for the day was Bill Anderson, the “main man” for the Cherokee County Economic Development program.
Was told he did a great job and had about a thousand questions asked of him. Don’t believe he gets enough credit for all the work he does. He is a go-getter that tries to make the entire county a better place to live. Hmmm.. he is a Kiwanian. Good guy.

Oops, almost got me but you were not there so you don’t get to know. Just like me.
The business meeting once again was our business and not yours. The gang did however decide to put in the standards for the reading part of the walking path.
Wasn’t there so this is short and sweet.
