Kiwanis Korner Feb. 27, 2025

Ok, here we go again, off and running like a herd of turtles. Yikes
Great to see predawn colors to the east when headed to the greatest Kiwanis Club meeting known to mankind.
Two years ago we cancelled our meeting because we had four inches of snow and -30 degree chill factor. Sounds like last week.
Our wonderful, beautiful, exciting and tasty breakfast was once again prepared by our chef extraordinaire, Amy. Every week she gets us filled up so that our meetings are often compared to the House of Lords in England. Well, ok, maybe we don't yell that much. But it gets wild and fun as the meetings go along.
Thanks Amy.
Our speaker for the day was Mr.Bartholomew. He is the coach for the Alta-Aurelia trap shoot team. Trap shooting is the fastest growing sport in the nation. His team is no exception, in that they have grown from a team of 5 to a total of 51 this year. You should have been there to hear what else he had to say. Kinda think he meant most of his talk was designed for our group. That group is the Aurelia Kiwanis Club.
Trap is an expensive sport so we gave him a fist full of dollars.
Great job Coach.
Our business meeting was a humdinger.
We talked about our business and not your business because our business is none of your business, and your business is none of our business, and business is business.
Will however let you know we will be the High 5 Friday greeters next week in Aurelia. We also talked about the ditch cleanup project. Then things got more tense and exciting, but those discussions are none of your business, because you are not a Kiwanian. You could be though if you want to fill one of the few remaining chairs. See you Thursday? Great !!!!
Next weeks meeting promises to be even more exciting because we have so much more business to talk about.
Also we are having a surprise speaker. His nam is Mr. ........
He he.
Have a great week and hugs are free and feel sooo good.
