Sylvia Marie Lundquist, 84, of Aurelia passed away peacefully on Aug. 1, 2025, at Accura Health Care in Aurelia.

Sylvia was the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Mohror) Luetkeman. She was born on March 23, 1941, in Sioux City.
She attended school in Peterson and graduated from Brook School, Peterson.
Sylvia was united in marriage to Charles M Lundquist June 18, 1960, at Saint Johns United Church of Christ in Peterson.
Sylvia enjoyed golfing, reading and traveling after retiring from Aurelia school working as a study hall monitor.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Lundquist; and son-in law Allen Stange.
She is survived by her two children: Jeff Lundquist and his wife Heather of Atlantic; and Deb Stange of Aurelia; grandchildren: Pammy Fixmer (Preston Casey) of Omaha, Neb.; Stephanie Stange and Nick Radke of Alta; Brett Stange and his wife Kelsi; Sarah Post and her husband Andrew Post of Des Moines; great-grandson Beau Stange; sibling Steve Luetkeman and his wife Joann of Storm Lake; many nieces and nephews.
