ILCC Spring 2023 Honors Lists 

Iowa Lakes Community College releases the Spring 2023 Honors Lists recognizing students who achieve the highest academic standards earning inclusion on the President's Honor List or Dean's List. For the Spring 2023 semester, 118 students made the President's Honor List, an honor achieved by those who recorded a 4.0 GPA, and 212 students made the Dean's List of students who earned a 3.25 GPA or higher for the semester. In addition to achieving the required GPA, students must also be full-time and enrolled in 12 or more graded credits to be eligible for the President's Honor List or Dean's lists.

ISU Spring graduates

 Nearly 4,600 graduates received degrees from Iowa State University this spring. Graduate and undergraduate commencement ceremonies were held May 11-13 at Hilton Coliseum.

ISU spring semester 2023 Dean’s List 

More than 9,800 Iowa State University students have been recognized for outstanding academic achievement by being named to the spring semester Dean’s List. Students named to the Dean’s List must have earned a grade point average of at least 3.50 on a 4.00 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours of graded course work.

Morningside Spring 2023 Dean's List

Morningside University Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs Chris Spicer announced the 446 students named to the Dean’s List for the spring semester of the 2022-23 academic year. The Dean’s List recognizes Morningside students who achieve a 3.67-grade point average or better and complete at least 12 credits of coursework with no grade below a “C-.” Students that achieved a 4.0-grade point average are denoted with an asterisk (*).

Morningside University May and summer 2023 graduates

Two hundred undergraduate students and 247 graduate students graduated from Morningside University on Saturday, May 13 at the commencement ceremony held at Elwood Olsen Stadium on Morningside's campus. The May and summer 2023 graduates are as follows:

NICC Spring Honors List

Northwest Iowa Community College, Sheldon, Iowa, has announced the Honor List for the Spring semester. Students on the Honor List are full-time and have achieved an average grade point of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.

NCC continually maintains a high presence of quality students that are represented on the Honor List. These students are to be commended for their fine performance in their respective fields.

Northwestern Graduates announced

Lily Anderson and Tyler Zeimen, both of Cherokee, were among 234 graduates to receive bachelor’s degrees at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa during commencement ceremonies Saturday, May 13. Seventeen students received Bachelor of Science in Nursing degrees, while the rest of the graduating seniors were granted Bachelor of Arts degrees.

• Lily Anderson, Cherokee, Magna Cum Laude (3.70–3.89 GPA), Elementary Education

• Tyler Zeimen, Cherokee, Elementary Education

USF Spring 2023 Dean's List

The University of Sioux Falls congratulates more than 550 students who made the Spring 2023 Dean's List. The following local students made the list:

• Haley Schwarz, Cleghorn. Business Administration.

• McKenna Comstock, Marcus, Elementary Education and Exercise Science.

To qualify, students must be enrolled in at least 12 semester hours and earn a term GPA of 3.5 or greater on a 4.0 scale.

USF Spring 2023 Commencement

The University of Sioux Falls conferred 420 total degrees on Sunday, May 21, at the Sioux Falls Convention Center. Total degrees conferred included 310 undergraduate students and 110 graduate students.
