Cherokee County Conservation Board has opened the Licklider Shooting Complex for the 2024 season. There is a new envelope box and deposit box available on site. Those looking to use the site must sign in when arriving and out when leaving. Shooters who pay upon arrival for the day should place payment into the envelope, which then goes into the brown payment box.
Annual passes for the range are $40/household. Daily passes are $5/day/shooter. Both can be purchased online at MyCountyParks.com or at the CCCB office. Annual passes must be purchased in advance to using the range.
Initial work has been done at the entrance for future trap fields. Fundraising efforts will be forthcoming for their installation.
