Lois Robinson Goth, 93, of Cherokee, Iowa, passed away on Friday evening, June 14, 2024 at Accura Healthcare in Cherokee, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cherokee, Iowa.  Pastor Jonathan Riggert will officiate. Burial will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery at Cherokee, Iowa.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with the family present from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Boothby Funeral Home in Cherokee, Iowa.  Services will be livestreamed through the assistance of Fuller Digital Solutions on the Boothby Funeral Home website.  Online condolences may be left at www.boothbyfuneral.com

Lois was born on June 15, 1930 to Lawrence and Rosa (Schwenn) Noah at Cherokee, Iowa.  She attended Cherokee Schools.  She was united in marriage on November 11, 1947 to John Robinson, Jr. at Cherokee, Iowa.  John passed away in 1992.  She was united in marriage to Adrian Goth on September 29, 1999. 

Lois worked for 40 years at Sioux Valley Memorial Hospital.  She started as a nurses’ aide and then went on to work in the Central Supply Department.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and was active with the Ladies Aide. 

Lois cherished spending time with her family.  She enjoyed bowling, gambling, and crocheting.  She was an excellent cook and baker, especially pies, which she loved sharing with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands John Robinson and Adrian Goth, infant daughter Janet Marie Robinson, two sisters Donna (Paul) Bingham and Norma (Robert) Mahnke.

Lois will lovingly be remembered by her children, John (Judy) Robinson of Gillette, Wyoming, Judy (Doug) Smith of Cherokee, Iowa, Jean (Dave) Hind of Gillette, Wyoming, Jim (Ann) Robinson of Cherokee, Iowa, and Jeanette (Gary) Lukins of Adel, Iowa; 19 grandchildren; 57 great grandchildren; 16 great-great grandchildren; one brother Lawrence (Jan) Noah of Brandon, South Dakota; several nieces and nephews.
